The 2003 Family and Community Education State Conference, October 6th - 9th, will have the theme of "Around the World with FCE" and will be hosted at the Travel Lodge Hotel, East Gate in Kissimmee. 

District III, has asked Volusia County to be in charge of Fun Night. A sneak preview of their plans has revealed that each Florida county has been assigned a third world country that belongs to the Association of Country Women of the World (ACWW) to study. Each county has been asked to gather information on their country and to share this with the member counties. 

Fun Night will be the culmination of this study with a dress parade which will represent all of the countries studied. Hopes are that some counties will be willing to share some of the cultural experiences that they have learned about.
